基本的にアップデートが3クラスのグループで、一人攻撃、一人防衛、一人サポート。いままでだと攻撃=Pyro、防衛=
Heavy、そしてサポート＝Medic。今度は前のMeet the sniperのビデオにPyroのアップデートのヒントが出たように色々ヒントになる可能性のものが出ている。

まずは一番大きいのはHeavyの新しい実績でこの画像があった：

これだとSpyの銃は今までと違ってsilencer（消音器; マフラー）が付いていますので、もしかすると次のアップデートはSpy？

それで気なることはアップデートが上に書いたよう攻撃、防衛、サポートで出るとSpyがサポートで、かなり細かいところけどビデオなどでDemomanのビールのラベルが変わったから防衛はDemoになって、そしてMeet the sandwichの最後のほうはMeet the Heavyとほぼ同じけどSoldierのロケットがなくなっているで、それで攻撃がSolになるということをSteam Forumで噂なっています。

Spyは可能性高いと思けど、後はちょっと細かすぎなヒントで、ヒントじゃなく、たまたまじゃないかなと思ｗ。

今日は最初のTeamFortress（QuakeのModだったQuake Team Fortress)の12年記念です。それでサーバー全体は強制的にBirthday　Mode（誕生日モード）で普段血やぐろい死体やその部分は風船やプレゼントになって、プレーヤー全員パーティハットつけっている。

一番最初のTeam Fortressを作った人たちはAustralia人3人（Robin Walker, John Cook, Ian Caughley ）で、仕事ではなく、無料Modで作った。そしてそのうちの二人（Robin WalkerとJohn Cook）が今はValveでTf2を作る仕事をしています。

タイムライン

•   1996年：QuakeというFPSゲームでTeam Fortressがリリース（このバージョンはTeam Fortress, TFやQuake Team Fortress/QTFといわれます。）
•   1998年：Team Fortress 2はアナウンスされる。
•   1999年：Team Fortress ClassicがHalf　Lifeののためにリリース（これはTFCというバージョン、これを新しいSourceEngineで再現しようとしているModはFortress Forever/FFと言います）。
•   2007年: Team Fortress 2 (TF2)がリリース、アナウンスから9年間。さすが、Valve Time。

TF2は9年の開発に渡って、今までに色々変更がありました。普通の軍隊バージョン、未来軍隊バージョン、地球人V宇宙人バージョンやHalf Life2のキャラを使ったバージョン色々ありました。以下はいくつかのバージョンから存在するスクリーンショット：

結局、この地球に２人しかいなくても、絶対だれかが違うやつを殺して欲しい人はいるので食べ物を買えない状況（＝お金入ってこない入ってこない状況）にならない（＝安定した仕事、人間がいる限り客はいるで、生活できる仕事）。

Valve today announced a set of new releases for Team Fortress 2, the title named Multiplayer Game of the Year by PC Gamer and Gamespy.com.

The main event of the week is the Pyro Update, which will be made available this Thursday and contains three unlockable new weapons for the Pyro plus 35 new achievements. In addition, two user-created maps are included to highlight the great work being done in the community and distribute those works to all TF2 players..

Meanwhile as folks wait for the Pyro Update to be released, the latest in the “Meet the Team” video shorts, “Meet the Sniper,” will be made available tomorrow (Tuesday, June 17) at 11 am PDT along with a web site dedicated to the Pyro update.

Finally, to give everyone a chance to try the new weapons and community maps, Valve will hold another Team Fortress 2 Free Weekend via Steam beginning this Friday at 11 am PDT.

結局前の記事とほとんど変更ないけれど、Meet the SniperビデオとPyroアップデート専用のウェブページは日本時間水曜日の午前０３：００で、Pyro新武器、クラスの変更とPyroのために35新実績はアメリカの木曜日のでおそらく日本だと金曜日の早い時間ということですね。

後は既にあったカストムマップ二つは一緒に出されるようです。

We’ve almost completely wrapped up the next big release for Team Fortress 2, which will focus on the Pyro class, along with the Meet the Sniper movie. We’ve spent time looking at how the recent Medic release went, and have rolled feedback from that release into the new item designs for the Pyro and into the design of the achievements required to unlock those items. One item, shown here in concept form, will be the Axtinguisher. Although it does about half of normal damage to standard run-of-the-mill non-burning enemies, once you light someone on fire the Axtinguisher will guarantee a critical hit.

Along with all of the new content, we’re also going to be making some significant changes to the Pyro class for everyone, regardless of whether they have unlocked any new items.

Medicのあとは次の実績と武器のアップデートはPyroですね。画像のイメージは一つの新武器です。Axtinguisher（アクスティングシャー)と言って、英語ではAxe(斧)とExtinguisher(消火器)の混ぜた駄洒落になっています。この武器は普段以来の斧の半分のダメージしか出さないけど、既に火をつけた、燃やした敵に使うと必ずCritical(クリティカル）を出すだそうです。

実績開放しない人でもそれ以外にもPyroのClassは色々大きな変更になると書いていますけれど、それは何でしょうかね。

これと一緒にMeet the Sniperという新しいヴィデオもリリースされると書いています。

最近のうわさで聞く新マップのこと一切書いていないので、おそらく今度のアップデートは新マップ無しということですね。
